Jeff Crippen, 69

In August of 1970, I married Charlotte Taylor from Mounds and we have one son, John, who lives in Effingham; and two grandsons, Jeff and Mark, ages 9 and 7.

For the past 30 years, I was in the insurance business in sales and management. We have moved 6 times and located permanently in Metropolis, Illinois, in 1989. I retired, but soon found out that retirement wasn't for me. I am currently VP of sales for Humana and am over half of the US for them on individual products.

My hobbies include golf and old cars. I love to play golf and try to play weekly. In 1998, I bought Jon Frohock's(former CHS teacher) 1958 corvette which had been in his garage for 31 years. I have had it completely restored and drive it often. I also, bought Charlotte a '68 rally sport camaro.

There's not much more to say, except life has been great to us and like everyone...it also has been getting too short.
